Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026 · Go Yukon Technologies Inc. complies with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account data: email, name (from Google or magic link sign-in)
  • Business details you enter in the page builder
  • Generated page content stored in our database
  • Payment metadata via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser type, usage timestamps

2. How We Use Information

To provide YukonPages, process payments, improve the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.

3. AI Processing

Business descriptions you submit may be sent to Google Gemini to generate page content. Do not submit sensitive personal data you do not want processed by AI providers.

3a. Community Study Bots

Free study assistants (e.g. Driver's License bot at studio.goyukon.ca/community) use AI services powered by Google Gemini to retrieve answers from uploaded reference materials stored in our infrastructure. We store study questions, session identifiers, usage counts, and (for guests) IP-based daily limits in Supabase. Signed-in users are linked to their YukonPages account email. Questions are used to enforce fair-use quotas and to improve service quality. Do not submit health, financial, or other sensitive personal information in study chats.

  • Cloudflare R2 (PDF study materials for community bots)
  • Upstash (rate limiting, if enabled)

5. Your Rights (Canada)

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing admin@goyukon.ca. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by PIPEDA and, where applicable, British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Yukon private-sector organizations are generally subject to PIPEDA federally; Yukon territorial public bodies follow separate access-to-information rules that do not apply to this private service.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the studio app.

7. Data Location & Retention

Data may be processed in Canada and the United States (cloud providers). We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion for legal compliance.
